There are numerous pieces of art out there pertaining to torture of all sorts. Most of them are classical pieces, but every now and then you get a modern day artist who uses the genre as well.

Haze | Goya

Back when I was drawing more, I did a few images that were particularly dark in nature. Recently I've gotten back into my art somewhat, and am working on a possible series of torture methods. I'll probably go the way of lithographs, but we'll see. Here's the first, and I'll add more of my older ones along with any other new prints that I do.

Back in the early 19th century, Goya did a wonderful series of etchings entitled "The Disasters of the War". Some of them are directly applicable to the theme of this site, while others are more indirectly applicable, having to do more with war itself. I'll be displaying the obviously torture/execution themed pictures here first, and then possibly move on to some of the more subtle ones.
